My new Pen Pal

I few weeks back while in up-state NY, I met the sweetest little girl.

We had a magical time together. The moment I met her, I knew she was special. 

Her introduction: "Hi, I'm Bridget, want to build a fairy-house?"

I only let a hand-full of people read my Children's book along the editing-process trail.

She was one of them... I read the first two chapters to her, and she's been writing me ever since.

What a magical feeling to have my first book fan!!

The long-awaited book will be heading to the printer in two weeks!!

 She asked me to make her a crystal crown, and the moment I put it on her, she began to meditate with one of my coasters used as a medallion. (this is not staged).
Talk about "The Neverending Story" to the max!

The whole time, we were connected to the "imagination station".

Whether we bounced on "cloud trampolines", offered "butt mints" or saw belly shirts that "made our eyes throw up", little Margot pants taught me a whole new way of looking at things.

While cousin Ike, inspired me with a new genre of tunes.

Making Paper Succulents

 Succulents are my favorite type of plant, if only I could keep them in the house without the kitties eating them up, as if it's some kind of salad. 

I have hanging plants and a few miniature green houses around... but have been longing for a few more.

They're not fans of eating paper... so I created the perfect solution for my craving... 

A lush Succulent Wreath is now hanging from our front door!

Hoping this will fulfill my desire for greenery a bit more.
