Happy Thanksgiving!

Grateful is an understatement... sit back and relish is gratitude, take a break, eat pie and enjoy the fam!

Our Thanksgiving feast was fab. 

Hope everybody had a Happy Halloween filled with pumpkin pie and an open third eye!!

Today's Sticktivities included the creation of Humpty, the pumpkin.

I cleaned out the pencil sharpener today and saw a puffy sleeve... one thing lead to another.

Counting Sheep

This pregnancy diet is not easy for me. Constantly hungry, but not able to eat my regular portions. I'm nibbling all day long. This is an example of one of my 12 plates throughout the day that I can handle without feeling like I'm going to burst:

~1 measly clementine

~5 strands of cheetos, (Trader Joe's Baked cheese crunchies) so that makes it healthier, right?

~2 spoonfuls of cottage cheese

~2 grapes

~8 kidney beans

~1/2 an avocado 

Grazing among the avocado hills, 

are two sheep dressed up in cottage cheese frills.

While standing on their hearty limbs of kidney beans,

the clementine sun with cheetos rays light up the scene.

Having my #1 pregnancy craving of red grapes as a head,

I'm looking forward to counting these before I go to bed.

Sticktivities Workshop

Some of my favorite faces that the kids came up with:-) Children really are amazing creatures with magical minds.

We have a baby on board!

I made this from the center of an orchid plant... all in one piece, funny how it turned out looking like a baby once the top bonnet flower was placed on top. But where are the blue flowers when you need them :-)?

Inside my stomach is a sprout… halfway ready to bloom,

A little lad renting this dark space in my stomach room.

In 20 weeks you will slide down the water flume,

as an angel dressed in a baby boy costume.

On my morning walk today, I couldn't help but notice the stages of life on the ground. 

Time and gravity never takes a day off. 

If you run out of the real deal, improvise.

Disconnected

Howdy everyone! It has been a while since I've connected on here. I have been receiving lots of messages from my Sticks and Stripes followers, and apologize for the delay in words.

A few transitions are happening in my life at the moment. After a long 6 month book tour on the road, we have recently relocated from Los Angeles and are now growing our roots in Nashville, TN.

I'm so grateful for this moment of stillness, and love the fact that we now live in the country, rather than the city of concrete. It truly feels like Naturehood here with a yard full of trees, greenery and an enchanted forest all over town. There will be plenty of Log Chillin' going on:-)

As you can see, the trees were a major selling point in getting our new bungalow;-)

...Though all these new blessings,  I am saddened by a farewell to one of my favorite friends...

...and will miss the sun. LA, you sure have been a comfy home these last 8 years. 

But off I go into the great unknown!

Humpty Dumpty Breakfast

Two boiled eggs with a Rosemary crown, Dill brows, and an Oregano goatee. Dressed in a Pepper polka-dot top while bathing in a Kale salad drenched in Apple Cider Vinegar.
