This is the 1st Thanksgiving spent without Hassan and Mya in the past 5 years. Missing them like crazy!! Thankful for their amazing father. He does so much for them and am grateful that he put them in the BBBS program so that my husband and I have a chance to be a part of their lives:-)

Vegetarian Turkey

Seasoned with buttons, burlap and a maple leaf- I made our Thanksgiving Turkey today.

It soaked overnight in a homemade brine of wondrous assorted paper puree.

I was given paper doilies at Teatime today, and just couldn't bring myself to throw them away.

Bon voyage New Zealand~Its been real

Meet the lovely Mother Nature BoxTroll,

made up of findings from a grassy knoll.

Her pumpkin head picked right off the vine,

topped with Shirley Temple hair of twine.

Quite the fashionista in her tree-pod kicks,

everyone admires her lily petal lips.

She has such dreamy daisy flower eyes,

and a box full of scrumptious pumpkin pies!

Pumpkins and Gourds, I'll love you til the end of vine.

It's opening day at a theatre near you, which will leave you craving cheesecake and fondue!

It's obvious that the White Witch from Narnia has made a passing through Utah. 

She turned nearly every critter into stone. I was amazed by this magical place.
