Just passed my scuba diving Padi test, and am a few dives away from being certified for life. Can't wait to explore the fish world. I am nervously excited to meet the different species. Fish of neon and all colors of crayons... big and small, shaped as a ball, while some are of stars.

Mission while mooning
For our honeymoon, we're heading to Bali.
Note to self:
1.) Don't think about work
2.) Survive scuba diving
3.) Do a little textile shopping
4.) Stop in the village of Mas, which is know for their intricate wood carving artistry--find a carved panel to put behind our bed, room screen divider and a wooden day bed for lounging in the backyard;-)

"Katie" and "Shannon" Sticks and Stripes Wedding Dresses
This dress was for an Indian wedding. Here is the paisley print/embroidery placement concept. I sketched the paisleys by hand to create a border embroidery on the dress. Mesh shell- Silk/Charmeuse lining
Being in the wedding spirit and all, wanted to post a pic of my beautiful sister, Shannon. I designed this dress for her lovely day, she looked absolutely exquisite~ Fully boned lace-up corset top and bias cut pieced skirt. Silk charmeuse lining- French Lace shell.

1st "Contemporary top" designs to hit stores
This was a big milestone in my career.... Back in 2008, these were the initial sketches that I sent to the buyers as my 1st designs to hit the mass market of "Belk" and "Dillards" as Top-Sellers;) We ran those tops for 2 years straight, in different seasonal fabrications-

"I'm from Pears... Pears, IL"
This is a piece that I did several years back. It symbolizes the world in which I come from, to the world that I reside in today. Paris, IL (people from Paris call it "Pears", accent included). Paris is where I was born...a town full of corn, lots of trucks and very little fuss.
Los Angeles is a city of full-time traffic grind, along with crime such as rape and lack of faith.
I sometimes miss the town where the norm was to putt, but am now living in a city full of rush.
